RunYourCarOnWaterFYI.com Has Opened Its Doors
Highland, CO, July 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Run Your Car on Water FYI (runyourcaronwaterfyi.com) has opened its online doors as a premier web property where one can separate fact from fiction in regard to HHO technology. Run Your Car on Water FYI compares and contrasts gasoline-powered vehicles that use HHO generators with hydrogen cars and mythical perpetual motion machines.
According to General Manager Craig Appleton, “There has been so many scams and misinformation in this field, we felt compelled to put up a website that will put the record straight. HHO technology is real, viable and is in thousands of vehicles now, saving businesses and consumers gas mileage and dollars at the pump.”
The intent of Run Your Car on Water FYI is to separate the hyperbole from the hydrogen. HHO generators are aftermarket devices one can put on one’s gasoline-powered car or diesel vehicle that uses a small amount of water, electrolyzes it, and injects the resulting HHO gas into the engine’s intake system.
The liquid H2O is transformed into HHO gas and this assists the engine to burn more cleanly and at lower temperatures, which helps to increase gas mileage. It is the mission of this website to debunk both the critics who say that run your car on water technology cannot work and the scammers who confuse HHO technology with hydrogen cars and the mythical perpetual motion water car.
The runyourcaronwaterfyi.com website talks about the Stan Meyer water car and conspiracy theories surrounding his death, the Japanese Genepax water car, Brown’s Gas and other related technology.
According to Appleton, “The reason this technology hasn’t taken off yet is because there is so much misinformation floating around that people feel they are being scammed when they come to most websites. Our intent is to legitimize this viable technology through public education.”

HHO Gas Conversion Kit - Free Plans
I was quite surprised to find out that the technology existed that would allow you to create a burnable fuel out of water to increase your gas mileage. I was also surprised to find out that people were already using this technology and that you could build your own hydrogen generator for under $65.
I checked around for guides on how to do this and soon discovered that the technology is public domain meaning anyone could utilize and capitalize on this cool way to generate free fuel.
I tracked down a set of free plans but I guess you get what you pay for. The instructions were not very clear and there was no parts list and the generator was very basic and did not produce any measurable amount of hydrogen gas, or HHO.
It was a learning curve though, kind of an introduction to this technology and I encourage you to give it a try if you want. I'd recommend purchasing a guide as they aren't expensive and you'll have much better results.
If you are new to this technology, then let me give you an over view of the process. Basically you are creating a burnable fuel known as HHO, or Brown's gas that you then inject into your car's engine along with the gas you already use.
This creates a cleaner burning fuel that burns more readily and also allows your engine to run cooler, cleaner and with increased power.
You create this HHO gas through electrolysis. You simply use a small amount of power from your car's battery and rip the water molecule apart giving you two bonded hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
This leaves you with a burnable fuel that is clean and safe to use. Water contains about three times the amount of energy as an equivalent amount of gas so you actually use very little water...one gallon giving you about 900 miles.
There are a lot of ways you can build your hydrogen generator and you will have some technical questions so I recommend you go ahead and buy a set of plans. You won't get any support from the free set.
You won't see this technology promoted by the government because it would be difficult to tax the heck out of water. Just a theory floating about but seems to be true. I know this works because I built my own hydrogen generator and cut my gas bill by 35%.
There are thousands of people all over the world who are getting 50 -100% increases in their gas mileage and I'm working towards that goal myself.
Want to build one yourself? Of course you do! I have a guide at my website that will show you, step by step how to make this hydrogen generator. It's freakin awesome and the government can't do anything about it! Go to http://MylaMadson.com/hybrid1

Avoid Highway Robbery by Using The New Crude--WATER
by: Leslie Lackman
HERE'S THE BAD NEWS.
Engines waste gasoline! Up to 80% of the high-priced gas that you pump doesn't get you anywhere because it goes UNBURNED to the catalytic converter. That means you are getting 0 MPG (zero, zilch, nada) from most of the over-priced gasoline you pump into your tank.
WHY DO COMBUSTION ENGINES WASTE SO MUCH GAS?
That's what they are designed to do--WASTE GAS--because every second of every day, everywhere in the world, every single gas and diesel engine on the planet puts money into the deep, deep, DEEP pockets of Big Oil.
Automotive and fuel technology has been deliberately held back, and people have been kept in the dark about AMAZING inventions and discoveries, in order to sell us lots of gasoline. Sorry, but that's how it is.
For example, the gas could be preheated and better formulated for better combustion--but it's not. The fuel vapor droplets could be smaller for efficient combustion--but they're not. The pre-set computer-controlled air-to-fuel ratio could be more economical--but it's not. The exhaust could be reprocessed to contribute to mileage (there are patents on that)--but it's not. Cars could be using a better carburetor design--but they're not because the patent for a 100 MPG carburetor was bought and buried years ago. Cars could be running completely on water fuel--but they're not because those patents were also bought and then buried along with the inventor (however, the patents ran out recently!). Even the hybrids that Big Auto is selling at luxury car prices don't optimize gasoline combustion and consumption.
HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS.
You can do something about it, ONE CAR AT A TIME, starting with YOUR car.
How? By using ENERGY from WATER.
If that sounds impossible, or crazy, or delusional, I understand. This is something that none of our trusted sources of information--TV, radio, teachers, movies, professors, magazines, dad, scientists, books, Sesame Street--have told us about. Why? See the bad news, above.
I mentioned amazing inventions and discoveries. Many of them have very sophisticated technical patents on them. But the kind of water energy system I am talking about, the one that is affordable and do-able by ME and YOU in OUR cars (not by buying a Big Auto hybrid with a luxury car pricetag), is a do-it-yourself technology, specifically designed for beginners with basic tools and very limited budgets. A working system can be built at home for $20 to $200 worth of parts and installed in your car, truck, or SUV on a weekend. It's a 90-year-old technology that has been revived and developed into a simple, affordable, SAFE system based on low-cost hardware.
It works like this: The main component of the low-cost water energy system is an electrolyzer-a container of water with electrodes in it. The electrolyzer takes a tiny bit of electricity from your car. The electricity "splits" water into hydroxyl gas and feeds it immediately to the engine cylinders. The improved air/fuel mix gets very efficient combustion.
SPINNING WHEELS, NOT HEADS
Remember the bad news at the top? Remember I said that wasted fuel can be as much as 80%? In other words, even though you have paid $3.50 or more per gallon, you are only getting performance from as little as 20%--two gallons out of every ten--of the gas you pay good money for! It puts a whole new complexion on the phrase "highway robbery."
Our heads are spinning from rising gas prices. Now imagine instead that ALL your gasoline is working for you--it's actually turning your wheels and not just being turned into carbon deposits on your engine or exhaust from the catalytic converter. What would it be like for ALL that gasoline to be giving you mileage? It would be a WHOLE LOT MORE ECONOMICAL, that's what! That's what happens when you add the energy from water.
SEEING THE SEA OF ENERGY
Wondering how much energy is in water?
One gallon of water converts to approximately 1,833 gallons of combustible gas. One observer noted that a gallon of water in his water energy system lasted for about 2,700 miles.
"Energy from water" is hard to believe because we are misled by the appearance of water when it's liquied. It looks so, well, WET and noncombustible. But if we could SEE the sea of energy in the water--zillions of hydrogen and oxygen atoms ready to break out and be combustible gas under the right conditions--it would be easy to conceive that, indeed, water can be "burned" in an engine, thus taking advantage of a new "crude"--plain water.
Why aren't scientists telling us about this? Why doesn't it make big headlines? More bad news. Some of them just don't know about it, and some are paid to tell us about anything BUT this. Also, scientists are sometimes far behind empirical evidence from experimenters and inventors. Sometimes a true scientist makes an amazing discovery and is suddenly way ahead of everyone. What happens then? He or she has to fight all the other scientists that are way behind or too vested in the old paradigm. So who are the true scientists around here? A TRUE scientist could be anyone, including a scientist.
THE LAW OF CONSERVATION
Here is something to ponder from Patrick J. Kelly of http://www.PanaceaUniversity.org. He has a delightful way of tilting one's mind out of its box:
"The Law of Conservation of Energy is undoubtedly correct when it shows that more energy cannot be taken out of any system than is put into that system. However, that does not mean that WE cannot get more energy out of a system than WE put into it. A crude example is a solar panel in sunlight. We get electrical power out of the panel but we do not put the sunlight into the panel-the sunlight arrives on its own. This example is simple as we can see the sunlight reaching the solar panel.
"If, instead of the solar panel, we had a device which absorbs some of the energy that Quantum Mechanics observes and then gives out, say, electrical power, would that be so different? Most people say "yes!--it is impossible!" but this reaction is based on the fact that we cannot see this sea of energy. Should we say that a TV set cannot possibly work because we cannot see a television transmission signal?"
BUT ISN'T IT DANGEROUS?
We have been living and driving with danger for decades--it's called GASOLINE! Cars and trucks are planet-polluting bombs on wheels! But we are accustomed to it, right? And for the most part, we don't blow ourselves up.
But in the water energy system, I know, you think we're talking about tanks of compressed hydrogen in the car, but that's not how it is done! Here's the beauty of it:
Hydrogen is already compressed in plain water!
All we do in a water for fuel system is UNCOMPRESS and USE it--immediately, on-demand, in the engine! No hydrogen bombs on board. Just a container of distilled water! And the exhaust is--WATER! You split water, you burn it, you get fantastic mileage, you get a little water left over.
GREEN TECHNOLOGY
You can't get much greener than this unless you go for an engine designed to run completely on water, like the one that was designed and proven by Stanley Meyers when he drove across the United States on approximately 28 gallons of water. (You can see interviews with him on YouTube.) You can't get much more affordable, either. And because this is GREEN technology, and you will not be causing any damage to the car or the engine (far from it), your warranty will most likely be intact AND the government will owe you money for going green!
INSTALL WATER ENERGY SYSTEM, DROP JAW
You could pay someone to install your water for gas system. There are hundreds of people around the world who are constructing and installing water energy systems, as well as driving "watercars" themselves. These people save gas, save money, get much better mileage, and enjoy smoother-running engines and greatly reduced emissions. And that's why they are happy to do the same for you so you can save gas, save money, get much better mileage, and enjoy a smoother-running engine and reduced emissions.
Or you could do it yourself, in which case you would first get instructions, which are available on line. Then you would make a parts list and buy the parts from hardware and electronics stores. Third, you would construct the components of the water energy system, put them all together, and install the system, making all the necessary adjustments to it. You would now be the proud owner of a Water Hybrid Vehicle. And last, after picking up your jaw from the floor, where it has dropped in astonishment at your engine's mileage and performance, you would become an advocate of water energy, as I have.
BETTER COMBUSTION FOR THE MIND
To really grasp the implications and possibilities here, we must first clean the carbon deposits out of our minds. Using waterfuel is an approach to our cars and fuel that requires more participation from us. The whole water energy system consists of physical components PLUS your mind and attitudes about fuel consumption. To really optimize your waterfuel system, you will also be using fuel warmer, some Kiker wires to improve the spark, Xylene to add to your gasoline, a low-friction synthetic motor oil, a couple bottles of fuel treatment to clean carbon deposits from old unburned fuel out of your engine, a MAP sensor enhancer to keep the car computer from over-correcting the fuel mix back to over-rich, tires that are always fully inflated, and a real-time mileage tracker so that you won't have to use an entire tank of gas to know what mileage you are getting.
Perhaps the most important thing is this:
Trust yourself.
When you use an "alternative" fuel-efficiency system, you are an experimenter who is going against the herd and chances are, you are going to get some flack. Don't be fooled by self-appointed "experts" who don't have hands-on experience and say it can't be done. When they laugh or frown or condescend and say, "It's scientifically impossible," well, first of all, you know they are not "true scientists" (so why are they acting like they know what "scientifically" means?). Ask them if they have ever tried it themselves. You will find they have not. Further discussion might be fruitless, but you can try. Tell them to just wait and see. See for yourself. Don't wait ten years for big industry to do it because they don't want to GIVE you anything--they are only thinking about what they can GET from you while they continue making empty promises.
WHAT CAN A WATER ENERGY SYSTEM REALLY DO FOR ME?
Well…
How much will gas cost the next time you fill your tank?
A water energy system won't lower the price of ALL gasoline.
It will lower the price of YOURS. But don't just take my word for it.
Leslie Lackman is an advocate of the application of free, unlimited energies--mind, water, life force--to cars, health, wellness, and performance.

Convert Your Car To Run On Water - Save Money, Save Gas!
Convert your car to run on water – save gas, save your car, save money and save the planet.
Fox News recently broadcasted an interesting and very important video report.
A savvy automobile owner has come up with a very simple yet incredibly efficient way of boosting his old car’s gas mileage by up to 100% - that means several thousands of dollars economy every year.
The creator claims that his developed invention converts water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). Also called Brown's gas or Hydroxy burns better than regular gas at our fuel pumps and provides more energy. This process is often referred to as Hydrogen Fuel Cell conversion.
Gas prices are on constant rise and the fuel economy question is starting to get very serious. More hybrid cars are sold all over the world, concepts of electric cars and Hydrogen fuel cell cars are developed in almost any country and finally there is a way for you to add a little something to fuel efficient revolution.
Car owners seem to forget or maybe ignore the fact that they could get better gas mileage simply by changing the way they drive. You do not need to buy an ugly and slow prototype in order to save on gas. You could increase gas mileage of your V8 truck as well! To get better gas mileage you should follow these simple rules;
• Accelerate gently. This will use less gas.
• Keep your distance - every time you stop you will have to accelerate.
• Take your car to a mechanic; simple air filter change or spark plugs replacement could greatly increase gas mileage
• Drive slower. Going over 120kph will use up much more gas.
• Change gears as soon as possible - low gear uses up to 30% more fuel than needed.
Our cars’ engines are designed in such poor way that they only burn about 20% of the fuel – the other 80% is wasted in heat and unburned gas (pollution). When converted to money at 3$ a gallon – per every gallon your car actually uses only 60 cents, and 2.40$ is completely wasted. When you convert your car to run on water, you create a gas which helps burning the fuel in a better proportion.
Instructions on how to convert car to run on water are also available for sale on the Internet. There have been many skeptical people that do not believe in the efficiency of the system – but there doubts always vanish after finding out that the instructions come with 2 month full satisfaction money back guarantee.
Is it not only the “saving money” part that attracts people - when you convert your car to run on water you also increase your car’s engine longevity and you greatly decrease the pollution. The system allows you to burn gas more efficiently – which decreases the noise of the engine and the wear and tear of the motor’s parts.
The system is composed by simple parts that are basically bolted on the engine. It could be done at almost no cost, by anyone and to any car. The system is completely untraceable when taken off of the engine.
Just imagine yourself buying half the gas you are buying now! Wouldn’t it be nice to have an extra couple of thousand of dollars for Christmas presents? For a vacation? For a down payment on a new car?
I hope this article gave you enough of useful information to consider converting your car to run on water.

Between Life or Death: How An Airbag and A Seatbelt Save Lives
by: Alan Haburchak
Airbags were invented and patented in the 1950s to cushion the impact and prevent or lessen injuries sustained in auto accidents. Studies show that thousands of lives have been saved by air bags, with fatalities reduced by up to 46 percent in airbag-equipped vehicles, but it is difficult to determine an exact number.
Airbags help prevent an occupant's head from striking some part of the inside of the vehicle, and help distribute crash forces more evenly across the victim's body. However, their rapid deployment can cause injuries or death.
After an impact, it takes only 1/20 of a second for an airbag to inflate and each bag is filled with gas. The first crash-sensing detector was introduced in the late 1960s, leading to airbag systems where the sensor or accelerometer triggers ignition of a gas generator to rapidly inflate the bag. The bag then absorbs some of the deceleration forces experienced when the occupant collides with and collapses it while the gas escapes through small vent holes during the next 3/10 of a second.
In the 1970s, Ford, GM and Chrysler offered airbags in select cars as a seatbelt replacement, and they became more common in the 1980s. In 1984, the U.S. government required all cars produced after April 1, 1989 to have driver's side air bags, and in 1998, dual front airbags were mandated (1999 for light trucks). De-powered, second-generation airbags were required, because first-generation airbags designed for occupants not wearing seatbelts were causing injuries. Advances continue to improve airbag performance.
Today, many cars have additional airbags designed to protect occupants' heads, protect from side impact, and protect passengers in the back seat. Various manufacturers have called their products Supplementary/Secondary Restraint Systems (SRS), Air Cushion Restraint Systems (ACRS) or Supplemental Inflatable Restraints (SIR).
Why wear a safety belt? It's important to wear a safety belt, even when in a vehicle equipped with air bags. Those not wearing seatbelts may slide or be thrown forward against the airbag module, and be seriously injured or killed if the airbag deploys. Most air bags only inflate once, and do not provide protection past an initial impact. Standard front-impact air bags do not deploy for side or rear impact crashes, or rollovers. Seat belts reduce risk in many types of crashes, keep occupants in the position where they receive the most benefit from the air bag, and protect against multiple collisions, or collisions where the air bags are not triggered. What other airbag safety factors exist? Injuries and deaths associated with airbag deployment follow several trends. First is the presence of first-generation airbags. Later-generation, multi-stage bags deploy more slowly, and with less force, and better respond to crash forces and occupant size. Improved technology and education helped reduce airbag-related fatalities from 1996 to 2000 by more than 90 percent for children and by 60 percent for adults.
Still, people suffer abrasions, hearing damage from the explosive deployment, head injuries, eye damage (while wearing glasses), and broken noses, fingers, hands or arms. Additionally, items protruding from the mouth can cause harm including food items and smoking tobacco products. ' can cause additional injury, as can anything loose in the car in contact with the airbag module.
Airbags can present a serious danger to infants, small children and small adults. To protect drivers and passengers from any harmful outcomes when an airbag is deployed, seats should be as far away from the airbag as possible, but within a comfortable and safe distance for the drive in order to drive the automobile. They should also sit back in their seat, keeping at least 10 inches between the breastbone and the airbag module. Those with asthma should be aware that powders (cornstarch or talcum powder) used to lubricate the airbag as it deploys may trigger an asthma attack. Seek treatment after an accident involving airbag deployment.
Infants and children under 12 should never ride in the front passenger seat, even in a child safety seat or booster chair. It is dangerous to allow a child to sit in the front seat of a car because of the harmful affects an airbag can have on them, but it is unavoidable in many two-seater trucks with no back seats, which is why many truck companies have created a switch device that can turn an airbag off for a passenger -- in the instance of a child in the front seat.
For vehicles without such switches, they can be installed to accommodate people with medical conditions or who can't sit far enough back to stay 10 inches away from the airbag, or for those who need to transport infants or children and have no back seat or a back seat too small to fit a child seat.
Even after an accident when the airbags have not deployed, victims and rescue personnel must be cautious. Airbags can deploy some time after the initial impact, causing injury and death.
Airbags that have never been deployed from an accident should actually be replaced as a car begins to age in order to offer drivers and passengers the safest driving experience. Timing varies, but a 14-year life for an un-deployed airbag is typical. When there is a problem with an airbag, an indicator light usually located on the dashboard will become lit, but most airbags are self-tested prior to the vehicle being started.
If you have suffered injury from improper airbag deployment or a car crash, you may wish to consult with an experienced auto accident or personal injury attorney about your case. Your personal injury attorney may be able to help you receive compensation for your injuries, lost wages, and/or future medical care.

Easy To Follow Driving Safety Tips
by: Kelly Hunter
Over the years, cars have leapt from a tool of convenience and productivity to a status symbol, achieving iconic status. Driving has gone from a privilege to a rite of passage. The legal driving age varies little from state to state, and generally hovers around 16. A few states don’t even require kids to have a learners permit before letting them out on the road. So basically, before we’ll allow them to buy tobacco, alcohol or a firearm in most places, they’re turned loose with a large, heavy and more widely destructive weapon.
More American teens die from car wrecks each year than from any other cause. The statistics are appalling. According to the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association, a 2005 survey conducted by the Allstate Foundation reported that out of 1,000 drivers between the ages of 15 and 17, more than 50 percent said they routinely use their cell phone while behind the wheel. Forty-seven percent said they find passengers to be distracting. In fact, statistics show that vehicle-related death rates among drivers in this demographic increase with each passenger.
Kids aren’t the only ones being irresponsible on the roads. Many busy adults also use their daily commutes to multitask, taking care of missed morning chores like shaving or even applying makeup. That’s only a good use of your time if you are aspiring to be the prettiest girl at the multi-vehicle pileup. Everybody has cell phones these days, and it is not at all unusual for people to use their drive time to chat with a friend or return important business calls. Next time you stop at a traffic light, take a brief second to glace at the drivers in either side of you. Chances are very good that at least on of them is talking on a cell phone.
Odds are also good, that at that very same light, some parent is turned around tending to children in the back seat. Anyone who has any kind of experience with kids at all knows that it’s unrealistic to expect them to sit quietly all the time, and they don’t have the maturity to comprehend the dangers of distracted drivers. The best solution is to make sure children are properly strapped into car seats, or booster seats, appropriate to their size before the vehicle starts moving. If and adjustment needs to be made, or some other situation needs to be seen to, then pull over.
Food is another common distraction for most drivers. Think about it; if you’ve got one hand on your Big Mac and the other one on your extra large soda, neither one is firmly on the steering wheel. What would happen if you suddenly had to depend on your French fry-greased hands to make a sharp turn to avoid hitting a small child or a semi truck? The seconds wasted as the wheel slides around clumsily in your hands could save someone’s life. You can visit http://www.driving-safety-guide.com to learn more about driving safely.
A lot of risky behavior can be avoided by making a point to ask yourself if it’s worth someone getting hurt or even killed. For example, “Is the few minutes I’ll save by applying my lipstick while driving worth the possibility of a collision?” It sounds like a no-brainer, but it’s a choice so may people make several times a day.

The Benefits Of Vehicle Parking Sensors
by: David Ostiguy
Many articles have been written about vehicles that prevent a person from swerving; cars that automatically slow down or stop when the vehicle comes too close to an object, or my personal favorite, self parking vehicles.
Most Luxury cars will have a feature where the driver will press a “Self Parking Button,” and the vehicle will park itself. But what about the people who cannot afford a luxury car? Instead of going out and spending an arm and a leg, why don’t you consider the option of purchasing a Parking Sensor Kit? There are many kits to choose from that all range in price to fit anyone’s budget. Parking Sensors go as low as $50. The Sensor Kit is easy to install and fits any vehicle. Some of the pricier kits require a little more work to install. If you are not comfortable with removing the bumper of a vehicle yourself, you could easily find an Installation Technician at just about any place that installs Stereo Equipment.
Vehicle Parking Sensors are a wise investment. It was recently reported that the number of children that are injured in parking accidents are equal to the amount of children killed in auto accidents. Vehicle Parking Sensors could be responsible in reducing reversing accidents by 75% and will pay for themselves in the long run by preventing these kinds of accidents. This will save you money on insurance claims and will also keep monthly premiums low.
Each Kit usually comes with 4-8 sensors. Others come with a metallic strip that is installed behind the bumper. The Sensors are either all ultrasonic, or a combination of ultrasonic and radar. As the vehicle reverses towards an object, the LED screen will beep. The closer you get to an object, the faster the beeping.
With all of the money you’ll be saving by preventing auto accidents, you may be able to afford that Luxury Car after all!

Tips for Safe Driving During the Holidays
by: Valerie Nay
Every year during the holiday season TV, radio, newspapers and others talk a lot about the hazards of drunk driving and remind us to be careful. Extra police are on the streets and many cities set up sobriety checkpoints to catch drunk drivers on nights when there are likely to be more parties.
This extra focus reduces the number of alcohol-related traffic accidents and makes all of us safer on the road during the holidays.
Drunk drivers aren’t the only hazard on the road during the holidays, though. While most of us would never dream of getting behind the wheel drunk, we could still be creating serious dangers without thinking about it.
Holiday Madness
Juggling normal responsibilities with shopping, parties, and extra school events can make a normally safe driver a literal wreck. Even if you are always calm and collected, remember that other drivers may be more on edge than usual and take these precautions.
*Be extra patient and make allowances for other people and the mistakes they make. Don’t forget to watch out for pedestrians as well as other drivers.
*Try to keep your attention on what you are doing. Not only could they cause you to make a mistake, but cell phones, eating and other distractions keep you from paying attention to other people and the silly errors they can make.
*Be especially careful in parking lots crammed with cars and pedestrians at this time of year. Take it a little slower than normal to avoid fender benders or worse.
*Take note of your emotions and consider taking a break if you get too stressed out, irritated or emotional. Get a cup of coffee or tea and relax for 10 minutes before you dive back in to the frenzy.
Holiday Fatigue
Another danger that is often forgotten, but also a huge problem during this hectic time of year, is driving while drowsy. Falling asleep at the wheel is obviously the most dangerous result, but tired drivers also tend to be more irritable and impatient.
This year like normal there will no doubt be many people who leave work on Friday and start out on long-distance trips to be with family or friends. College students whose holiday break begin after classes on Friday may be headed home as well.
Here are some recommendations you should consider and pass along to family members and friends who may be traveling by car during the holidays:
*Don’t start your journey tired. Be aware of the risks if you get up unusually early to start your trip or leave directly from work or school when you are tired.
*Plan your trip to include a 15-minute break every two hours.
*Make sure that you and everyone on your trip is carrying emergency contact information and valid identification.
*Share the driving if possible. Safety experts recommend switching off every three hours.
*You’re too tired to drive if you start drifting from your lane, hitting rumble strips, yawning repeatedly, having difficulty focusing or keeping your eyes open, missing road signs or tailgating. Pull over to a safe place as soon as possible, drink a high caffeine drink and take a 15-minute nap.

Convert Your Car To Run On Water - Save Money, Save Gas!
By: Alexandre Sol
Post Date: 2007-12-09
Car owners seem to forget or maybe ignore the fact that they could get better gas mileage simply by changing the way they drive. You do not need to buy an ugly and slow prototype in order to save on gas. You could increase gas mileage of your V8 truck as well! To get better gas mileage you should follow these simple rules;

10 Benefits Of Defensive Driving You Probably Didn't Know
by: Timothy Rudon
Defensive driving teaches safe driving techniques to drivers. At defensive driving classes students learn to overcome mistakes in driving techniques, learn to improve their driving skills; learn to make informed decisions and to anticipate situations while driving.
Defensive driving classes have been set up in every state by the government and police departments to make the world a safer place to live in. The need for speed can kill, it is important to teach driver discipline and safety rules. Defensive driving aims to reduce the risk of driving. Drivers must instinctively anticipate dangerous situations and avoid risks while driving vehicles in normal as well as adverse conditions. Defensive driving courses cover aspects like: emergency care, principles of safety, control of fear and emotions, on the spot decision making, quick reactions, fear, and so on.
More than 50,000 people in the US loose their lives due to road accidents. Accidents can be prevented by following simple rules. There are websites online that teach the rules that can help save lives. See http://www.roadtripamerica.com/DefensiveDriving/Drive-Safe-With-Uncle-Bob.htm .
The benefits of defensive driving classes are many and vary with each state.
1. Most states offer as incentive a reduction of points on your driver’s license following a driving violation ticket and offer the additional incentive of not increasing insurance rates.
2. In some states a defensive driving course would get at least 10% reduction is insurance rates for a period of 3-5 years. This being a considerable saving.
3. A defensive driving course will teach safe and accident free driving techniques.
4. The course will teach protection techniques and how to handle road rage and speeding.
5. The defensive driving course will teach safe driving techniques in bad weather and adverse conditions. The course will hone skills in highway driving, night driving, and extreme weather driving.
6. The course will inculcate critical safety issues and teach emergency action too.
7. By taking a defensive driving course you will not have to appear in court.
8. The driving violation charges will be dismissed and a fine will not be assessed.
9. Defensive driving classes create responsible citizens which mean children and families will remain protected.
10. Most important the defensive driving classes will improve driving skills, reiterate driving laws and rules and make better drivers of people.
A defensive driving class can even be taken virtually. States have set up defensive driving classes both online and offline to create a safe environment for citizens. Defensive driving teaches people to be responsible drivers and take all necessary precautions when seated behind the wheel of a car. It protects not just the driver but pedestrians, animals, and fellow commuters. It makes the roads safer.
Defensive driving saves lives.

Emergency Supplies Everyone Needs Inside Their Vehicle
by: Marilyn Bohn
This winter I went to a neighboring city for the day. When I left home it was partly sunny and I thought a light sweater would be enough to wear for the day. At the last minute I did take my jacket. In two hours time the weather changed to blizzard conditions. It was snowing, blowing, and the electricity went out. Because of the storm I was a bit concerned and wondered if I would even be able to make it home because of the blizzard. I thought I had every thing in the trunk of my car I would need incase I couldn't make it home through the storm so I felt secure in being prepared, (or so I thought).
I checked the trunk when I got home and found I didn't have any emergency supplies. What a rude awakening for me. I had taken out my organizer with my first aid kit, blanket, emergency kit, everything else I had for emergencies and had never put them back.
This past week I was out of town and my daughter noticed one tire on my car had gone completely flat. I confidently told her to use the' fix a flat can' in the trunk to get my car to the shop to have it repaired. It is an inflator and sealer for tires. It is a foam, very easy to use and will allow you to drive on the tire for several miles until you can get the tire fixed. I had to use this product several years ago and I know it works. What peace of mind such a simple thing gives to me when I am driving in my car. I don't have to have a jack or tools and it seals and inflates in minutes.
No matter that the weather or circumstances it is a good idea to have some basic supplies in our vehicles. That means in very vehicle we or someone else in our family drives.
Here is a list of suggested supplies to keep in our vehicles in case of an emergency:
Booster cables and/or…A 3-in-1 12Volt power station. It includes, 1) an emergency jump start system; 2) a 12 volt DC power supply which is a portable power source for lights, radio, cell phones; 3) long-lasting illumination for roadside emergencies, work areas and camp sites.
Car Jack You may have to use it someday so it is important to know how to use it. (Actually practice changing a tire before an emergency arises).
Spare tire Check it monthly to make sure it is pumped up and in useable condition.
Fix A Flat in a can
A first aid kit.
Road Flares
There are roadside emergency kits you can buy that are ready to go.
A sleeping bag, blanket. I carried an old quilt in my trunk for years thinking it was warm. We had to put it to the test and found it was not warm at all. Select a blanket to keep you warm. It can also come in handy if you are changing a tire and have to lay down on the ground.
A flashlight that works, check to see if it the batteries are good every three months.
Water to drink
Sit down and think what you might need in case of a break down or an emergency when you are in your car and make up your own kit for your specific needs.
Keep everything organized in a container that fits your vehicle whether it is in a car trunk, jeep, truck, SUV or mini van. The peace of mind you will have from being prepared is worth its weight in gold.

mini HHO experiment Version 2 part 2
Uploaded by ehnriko - "Testing the Tube Cell module with an electrolyte. By the way, I couldn't find any Baking Soda in our kitchen, so I used Baking Powder... the reason why my water seems blurry is because of the other stuff in the powder... at any rate, there is some baking soda content in it so it probably will work... it did."
mini HHO experiment Version 2 part 1
Uploaded by ehnriko - "Now I am using tubes this time... After trying various configuration playing around with the neutral tubes by trying out different connection combinations... I find this one more effective. (+) on the outer pipe, a neutral pipe in between then (-) on the innermost tubes. This is not really the ideal tube sizes which I prefer nor the materials are also not ideal. However, just to have a more in depth observation, I tried it anyway. I hope you learn something from it and hope you enjoyed the video."
mini HHO experiment Dio Scooter Test 1
Uploaded by ehnriko - "Using the Version 1 cell from my part 2 test... I installed the module into my Dio-2 Scooter. Since the Battery is dead, I don't worry about it producing HHO overnight when it switched off. For the scooter enthusiast, it will be easy to determine a healthy engine by the sound it produces... I hope you can hear the quality of the motor sound here. Earlier testing proved that the engine became more aggressive. I ran tested it also and it was accelerating up to 65 kph in a 200 meter strip of road easily. Mind you, this is only a 50cc engine with standard size piston and rings and bore... the only modification is the Racing Pipe... no Racing pulleys attached here so we are talking about a real bone stock bike here. This is only an HHO assisted system... I still have my Gasoline line working here and the HHO is merely to enhance the performance. As I post this, a much stronger cell configuration is already being tested and is producing twice as much HHO... will upload it later as mini HHO Version 3."
